Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

iSystematic Inc. ("iSystematic", "we", "our", or "us") is a Canadian applied-AI studio. We design, ship and operate AI products and the data infrastructure behind them. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and the choices you have.

2. Information we collect

We collect information you give us directly — for example, when you fill in our contact form, subscribe to updates, or correspond with us by email. That typically includes your name, work email, company, and the contents of the message you send us.

We also collect a small amount of information automatically when you visit the site: pages viewed, referring URL, approximate location derived from your IP address, browser type and timestamp. This is collected through privacy-respecting analytics (Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymization), only after you accept analytics cookies.

3. How we use information

We use the information to respond to your inquiry, deliver services you have engaged us for, send you operational emails relating to those services, improve the site, and meet our legal and accounting obligations. We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for advertising profiling.

4. Legal basis (GDPR / PIPEDA)

Where the GDPR applies, our legal bases are: consent (analytics cookies, marketing emails), the performance of a contract (delivery of engaged services), and our legitimate interests (running and securing the site, responding to inquiries).

Where the Canadian PIPEDA applies, we rely on your implied or express consent appropriate to the sensitivity of the information.

5. Sharing

We share information only with vendors that help us run the business — for example, email delivery (Resend), analytics (Google), and hosting (Vercel). These vendors process information on our instructions under written agreements and may store data outside Canada (typically the United States or the European Union). We never sell personal information.

6. Retention

Contact-form messages are kept for as long as needed to respond and follow up, then archived for a reasonable period (typically up to 24 months) for legitimate business reasons. Analytics data is retained for 14 months by default in Google Analytics 4.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, port or delete your personal information, to withdraw consent, and to lodge a complaint with your data-protection authority (the OPC in Canada, your supervisory authority in the EU/UK). Email nk@isystematic.com and we will respond within 30 days.

8. Security

We protect information with industry-standard administrative, technical and physical safeguards: encrypted transport (HTTPS), least-privilege access controls, vendor due diligence and regular review of our practices. No system is perfectly secure; we will notify affected users and regulators of material incidents as required by law.

9. Children's data

Our site and services are not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can delete it.

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page; significant changes affecting how we use your information will be highlighted on the home page or by direct notice when appropriate.
